Add IT Declarations

There are 3 ways of adding Employee IT Declarations:

My IT Declarations:

Step 1:

Go to Self Service--> IT Declarations menu item. My IT Declarations page will appear on the screen with a table containing the list of the employee's IT Declarations (If there are any previously added IT Declarations).

Step 2:

Click on "Add IT Declarations" button.

Step 3:

Upon clicking on the Add IT Declarations button, A popup will be displayed to the User to capture the Employee's IT Declarations details like Declaration Name, Amount etc.

{primary} All fields marked with * are mandatory and User must and should enter those details to proceed further.

Step 4:

Fill the details and click on the Save button. Upon clicking on Save button a confirmation message will be displayed.

Step 5:

Upon closing the popup, User can view the added IT Declarations in the grid with status as "Pending". Once the approver approves the submitted IT Declaration, the status of the IT Declarations will be changed to "Active" automatically.

Employee IT Declarations:

Step 1:

Go to Employees--> IT Declarations

Step 2:

Upon clicking on the submenu Employee IT Declarations page will appear on the screen with the list of Employees' IT Declarations.

Step 3:

Choose the Employee name from the drop-down and click on Add IT Declarations button.

Step 4:

Upon clicking on the "Add IT Declarations" button, a popup will appear on the screen to capture the details of the IT Declaration like Declaration Name, Amount etc.

Step 5:

Fill the details and click on the Save button. Upon clicking on Save button a confirmation message will be displayed.

Step 6:

Upon closing the popup, the User will be re-directed to the IT Declarations page and the User can view the approved IT Declarations in the table with status as Active.

{info} If IT Declarations type is House Rent and the amount is greater than INR 1,00,000 then Owner's PAN number is to be added.

Employee Compensation:

Step 1:

Go to Employees--> Employee Compensation

Step 2:

Select an Employee and click on Manage button.

Step 3:

On clicking manage button, if employee has no IT Declarations then Add IT Declarations button will appear.

(OR) If employee has IT Declarations then green color + button will appear.

Step 4:

On clicking Add IT Declarations (OR) + button, IT Declaration popup will appear on the screen. Click on "Go To IT Declarations" button. On clicking this button you will be redirected to "Employee IT Declarations" page. Then you can follow the steps of Employee IT Declarations from Step 3.

Request IT Declarations:

There are two ways of requesting IT Declarations:

Request IT Declarations Through Employee IT Declarations:

Step 1:

Go to Employees--> Employee IT Declarations

Step 2:

Upon clicking on the submenu Employee IT Declarations page will appear on the screen with the list of Employees' IT Declarations.

Step 3:

Click on Request IT Declarations button. On clicking the button a popup will appear with a dropdown containing a list of employees who are linked with user accounts.

Step 4:

Select the employees to whom you want to send request and click on Request button.

Step 5:

On clicking on Request button, email will be generated to the selected employees requesting for IT Declarations provided with a link in the mail.

Step 6:

Upon clicking the link in the email the employee will be redirected to My IT Declarations page where he/she can add their IT Declarations details.

Request IT Declarations Through Payroll Workflow:

{primary} NOTE: While Processing payroll, only for the March pay period we can get an option to request IT Declarations.

Follow the steps from 1 to 9 in the Payroll Process.

Step 1:

In the IT Declarations step, you are able to see the Request IT Declarations button on beside of the Refresh button.

Step 2:

Click on Request IT Declarations button. On clicking the button a popup will appear with a dropdown containing a list of employees who are linked with user accounts.

Step 3:

Select the employees to whom you want to send request and click on Request button.

Step 4:

After clicking on the Request button, confirmation message will be displayed and an email was sent for the selected employees from the drop down.

Step 5:

Remaining process is same as from Step 10 in Payroll Process.
